England’s men’s cricket team is set to tour Sri Lanka in early 2026 for a white-ball series, marking a key preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup. The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed the tour schedule, which includes three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is).

The series will kick off with the 50-over ODIs on January 22, January 24, and January 27, followed by the T20Is on January 30, February 1, and February 3. Specific venues for the matches are yet to be announced.

The T20I leg of the tour will serve as crucial preparation for England ahead of the World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. England, winners of the T20 World Cup in 2010 and 2022, were knocked out in the semi-finals of the previous edition held in the West Indies and the USA.
